Cunard's flagship and the largest ocean liner ever built (as distinct from a cruise ship). Designed for regular transatlantic service between Southampton and New York, she was the first major passenger ship built since QE2 with a strengthened hull for the North Atlantic. Powered by a CODAG plant including four Rolls-Royce Mermaid pods.
