Role overview
The ETO will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of electrical and electronic equipment on a Bunkering tanker. This includes ensuring all systems are functioning properly and safely. The role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
The ETO's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other crew members to ensure seamless operations. The ETO will also be responsible for updating and maintaining technical records and documentation. Additionally, the ETO will participate in drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness in case of emergencies.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate, such as an Electro-Technical Officer certificate.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as an ETO on a tanker vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and cargo handling equipment.
- Must be proficient in troubleshooting and repair of technical issues.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
