Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Oil tanker. This role involves overseeing cargo operations, maintaining deck equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to achieve these goals.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising deck crew, performing cargo calculations, and maintaining the vessel's deck and superstructure. The Chief Officer will also be responsible for conducting safety drills and training crew members. Additionally, the Chief Officer will participate in navigation watchkeeping and contribute to the development of the vessel's safety management system.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on Oil tankers
- Valid medical certificate
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations and safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
