Role overview
The Chief Officer is a senior crew member on a Bulk carrier responsible for overseeing cargo operations and deck maintenance. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. The Chief Officer will work closely with the Master to achieve these goals.
The Chief Officer's day-to-day duties include supervising cargo loading and discharging, performing safety inspections, and maintaining deck equipment. They will also be responsible for navigating the vessel during cargo operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, the Chief Officer will oversee the training and development of junior officers.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Chief Officer
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chief Officer on a bulk carrier
- Strong knowledge of cargo operations and deck maintenance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Valid medical certificate
