Role overview
The 4th Engineer is a key member of the engine department on a Crewell Oil/chemical tanker. This role involves maintaining and operating the vessel's engines and associated equipment. The 4th Engineer will work under the supervision of the Chief Engineer to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 4th Engineer's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of engine performance and maintenance activities. Additionally, the 4th Engineer will participate in drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness in case of emergencies.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a 4th Engineer on a merchant vessel
- Must have experience with engine maintenance and repair
