Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 3rd Engineer to join our team on a Bulk carrier. As a key member of the engine department, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engines and associated equipment. The 3rd Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on engine equipment, monitoring fuel consumption and optimizing engine performance. You will also be responsible for supervising junior engineers and participating in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, you will work closely with the Chief Engineer to plan and implement maintenance schedules and repairs.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- At least 2 years of experience as a 3rd Engineer on a bulk carrier or similar vessel
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Valid medical certificate
