NAG Marine, a Norfolk, Virginia-based defense contractor, has been awarded a $28.6 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Navy. The contract encompasses the development and supply of human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for various military vessels, including those operated by the Navy, Military Sealift Command, Army, Coast Guard, and allied foreign navies.
These HMIs are integral for controlling and monitoring critical shipboard systems such as propulsion auxiliaries, damage control mechanisms, and ballast operations. The contract also includes the provision of central processing unit enclosures and flat-panel computers designed to display system-specific information.
Work under this contract will be executed at NAG Marine’s facility in Norfolk and is expected to be completed within 60 months from the date of award. An initial funding of $708,186 from the Navy’s fiscal year 2025 operations and maintenance budget has been obligated at the time of the award.
This contract was competitively procured via the System for Award Management (SAM), with two offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) serves as the contracting activity.
For over two decades, NAG Marine has specialized in ruggedizing commercial off-the-shelf products to meet military specifications, providing reliable marine products backed by comprehensive lifecycle support.
