
China’s domestically-made luxury cruise ship “Adora Magic City” celebrated its 100th voyage in Shanghai on Monday.
Since it was put into operation in 2024, the ship has served more than 350,000 domestic and foreign passengers. This is due to its unique cultural tourism model, which also incorporates cultural elements such as folk music, local opera and tea culture.
The magical Adora City ended its journey at 6 a.m. The ship docked at the Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal.
When asked what impressed one child, he commented that the ship had amazing slides, gardens and swimming pools. Another passenger expressed satisfaction with the flight and expressed the hope to bring his parents on this flight.
The Shanghai Maritime Border Inspection Bureau has implemented a special management plan to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Adora Magic City. Sheng Jinghao, maritime inspector of Baoshan Maritime Safety Administration, introduced that electronic patrol, ship traffic service system, intelligent maritime platform and other tools provide meteorological and safety information for cruise ships under its jurisdiction to ensure safe and smooth cruise voyage.
Qiao Yingsong, a customs officer of Pujiang Border Inspection Station, introduced that at present, they have taken a number of measures to speed up customs clearance. He also pointed out that they are using cruise control to speed up the inspection process and reduce the waiting time of passengers.
Adora Magic City showcases Beijing’s growing expertise in the cruise industry. It was jointly built by more than 1,000 manufacturers from all over the world and is a symbol of innovation and international cooperation.
