Qatar Airways Cargo Launches Aerospace

Qatar Airways Cargo has launched a new product, ‘AEROSPACE’, designed to provide logistics solutions for the aerospace industry.
The product is designed to meet the needs of commercial airlines as well as manufacturers, carriers, and partners in the defense and aerospace sectors. Aerospace provides transportation for aircraft engines, spare parts, and other critical aviation components.
Qatar Airways Cargo has launched a specially designed shock-absorbing engine transport platform at its Doha hub, capable of carrying up to 20,000 kg. “Time is money! This is especially true for all forms of aviation, as every hour of downtime is lost revenue for airlines and sunk costs for aviation projects,” said Mark Drostsch, Qatar Airways Cargo Director.
Qatar Airways and Menzies Airport opened a major domestic cargo terminal. The Qatar Airways Cargo network offers an aerospace service with cargo priority, dedicated handling teams, and control tower support.
The offering also includes a dedicated special loads team that responds to customer inquiries within 45 minutes. Qatar Airways Cargo’s network includes 28 Boeing 777 freighters and 230 freighter passenger aircraft, providing fast connections and direct tail-to-tail transfers in less than 4 hours.
Customized charters can also be arranged. “With our aerospace offering, we are the number one logistics expert for all types of aerospace and aviation products, whether commercial aviation, defense, or space technology,” said Marc Drosch.
“I can now assure you that with our advanced inspection technology and highly trained cargo handling team, your air freight will be safe and will be delivered quickly and safely to where it is needed most using our dedicated transport vehicles in Doha.”
